North End Dental Offers Teeth In 24 Hours

Since teeth-in-a-day are not the same as permanent teeth in 24 hours, you need to know the difference.

What are teeth in a day?

With a name like “Teeth-In-A-Day”, most people envision getting durable teeth they can chew on just about anything the same day as their surgery. But what they don’t realize is that the traditional all on 4, or Teeth-in-a-day method, typically provides them with acrylic (plastic) dentures converted into a Temporary set of teeth the day of their dental implant surgery… not the permanent teeth they may have hoped for.

While All on 4 dental implants have revolutionized the dental industry by giving people a permanent solution to replace their missing teeth, the process has been pretty much been the same for 20+ years.

  • First, the teeth are pulled and the implants are placed.
  • Second, a plastic denture is converted into “temps” by removing the hard palate and drilling holes that attach to the dental implants.
  • Third, The patient may be placed on a liquid diet for a while and waits for the bone to heal around the implants.
  • Fourth, the patient comes back to have teeth set in wax placed in their mouth. This is used to manually create a model for the permanent teeth.
  • Finally, the permanent set of teeth is milled and placed on the dental implants months after the surgery.

While you do get a set of teeth placed that day, that set is created out of a normal set of dentures. These are just a place-holder until the permanent, strong, durable teeth can be created and installed.

What are permanent teeth in 24 hours?

While it can take up to 10+ Months to receive your permanent set of teeth through the traditional All-on-4® or Teeth In a Day Method - It takes only 24 Hours at Nuvia.

Unlike the traditional All-on-4 / Teeth-in-a-day method, Nuvia’s Permanent Teeth in 24 Hours does
not use a temporary denture. It also does not require the wax try-in phase, because of our technology and proprietary process.

How Long does it take to become a patient?

Each Nuvia location can help only 8 people a week, and each week we receive thousands of people who claim to be interested. In order to sort out who actually needs our help and who isn’t ready, we created an online evaluation form. This form just takes 60 seconds to complete, and all it asks are a few qualifying questions to ensure we can help the people who need it the most.

That being said, the entire process of filling out our form, coming in for a consultation, scheduling surgery, and receiving the permanent teeth take on average just 3 weeks.
